Handcross Pétanque is a friendly club based in the heart of Sussex with members located throughout the area.
Pétanque, sometimes known as boules, is an enjoyable, competitive game which can be played formally or informally by people of all ages and abilities. The club caters for all levels of play: those who wish to play for fun and enjoy the social side of its activities as well as those who have a more competitive edge and would like to enter other clubs' competitions, league matches and regional or national events.
The Club meets for informal games every Sunday at 10.00 throughout the year and Wednesday mornings from 10.00 in winter and 17.00 in summer.

A Winter’s Day at Handcross
Handcross Petanque Club is situated on the west side of the Brighton Road, next to the roundabout at the top of Handcross High Street and opposite the junction with High Beeches Lane, with close access to the M23 (Pease Pottage turnoff). Turn into the recreation ground to park and the terrain is situated behind the Pavilion building adjacent to the childrens playground.
